“Lemon Tree”: compie 26 anni il grande successo dei Fool’s Garden

“Lemon Tree” è un brano fresco come pochi altri. Il brano è opera della band tedesca Fool’s Garden (oggi si chiamano Fools Garden), che lo inserì all’interno del loro terzo album in studio, ovvero Dish of the Day: l’album fu pubblicato nel febbraio dello stesso anno. “Lemon Tree“, emerso ad aprile dello stesso anno, sfondò letteralmente l’anno successivo e verrà ricordato per essere il singolo di maggior popolarità della band in Europa (e non solo). In Germania, la canzone restò in vetta alla classifica per ben 4 settimane, ma andò altrettanto bene in molti altri paesi europei. L’aneddoto più curioso di questo grande successo è che fu scritto da Peter Freudenthaler – fondatore del gruppo – una domenica pomeriggio mentre aspettava la sua ragazza.
